Nova Dillon Nelson was born December 15, 1927 in Ramer, TN the daughter of the late James Robert and Ora Robertson Dillon. She was united in marriage to Chalbert Randolph Nelson on May 9, 1943. Mr. Nelson preceded her in death on January 17, 1991.
Mrs. Nelson was a Homemaker . She was a member of the Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church in Selmer TN. Some of her favorite pastimes were gardening, going to yard sales and flea markets, quilting, collecting cupid dolls, spending time with her grand children along with aggravating Ben.
Mrs. Nelson departed this life on November 3, 2012 in Cape Girardeau , Missouri at the age of 84 Years, 10 Months, 19 Days. She is survived by four daughters, Kay Lutker and husband William of High Ridge, MO, Faye Gill of Highsprings, MO, Sherry Clark of Lamore, CA, Tracy Crossfield and husband James of New Madrid , MO; four sons, Randolph Nelson and wife Bobbi of Lebanon, OR, Rocky Nelson and wife Cindy of New Madrid, MO, Ricky Nelson and wife Barbara of Corpus Christi, TX, Charles Nelson and wife Debbie of Toone, TN; nineteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, one sister Ethel Lowrance of selmer , two brothers, Sam Dillon and F. D. Dillon, both of Selmer.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by a son, Martin David Nelson, two sisters Nelda Dillon, Glenda Sheridan, two brothers Bill Dillon, Bobby Dillon, and two son-in-laws Ed Clark and Larry Gill.
