Wanda Irene Toliver was born to Ira S. Toliver and Jenny Cook. Her family moved to Kansas from Illinois around 1917. Her mother died when she was a toddler. Wanda married Jacob S. Chupp on September 12, 1912 in Pryor, Oklahoma. They moved to Yoder, Kansas and then on to East Goshen in Indiana where she lived most of her life. She had five children, includingidentical twin sons.
She also had 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild at the time of her death. Sadly, one of Wanda's daughters (Irene) preceded her in death at age 15 when she was killed by a car. Wanda was a homemaker and member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church for many years.
