Burial will be in Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Watkins died peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2015 in Ft. McCoy, FL. Born in Hartsville, SC, he was a son of the late Dantzler W. Watkins, Sr. and the late Terressa Johnson Atkinson.
D.W. was a carpenter by trade and loved to use his skills working on churches. His passion was traveling in his motor home with his wife and puppy, "Prissy," to churches across the United States and leading people to Christ. He spent much of his later years repairing roofs on churches and serving in mission work.
