Mrs. Ila Yvonne Brandon, 81, of Clemmons passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at her home. She was born November 20, 1935 in Iredell County, NC, the daughter of the late, Dallas Sanford and Ila Joyner Grose. Mrs. Brandon was a member of Boyer’s Chapel Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy B. Brandon.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly “Rusty” Brandon-Richey and husband, Terre of Midway and Gail Brandon Taylor and husband, David of Winston-Salem; Seven grandchildren, Billy Raymond Moore and wife, Jessica of Clemmons, Max Taylor and Daniel Grant of Winston-Salem, Felicity Richey, Noah Richey and Brandon Richey of Clemmons, and T. J. Richey and wife, Michelle of Arkansas. Five great grandchildren, Brandon Moore, Matthew Moore, Cole Moore, Chelsea Neace, and Clarissa Burcham; and one sister, Barbara Ann Grose of Harmony.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 AM at Boyer’s Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery with Mr. Jerry Williams officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the cemetery one hour prior to the service at the cemetery. Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel is serving the Brandon family.
