Peculiar Double Fatality.

MILWAUKEE., Aug. 21. -

A strange double fatality occurred at the National Soldiers' home, the victims being Richard Botfield, aged 78, late of the United States Navy, and William I. Gordon, late of Company D, Ninth Ohio infantry. They were assisting each other up the steps of the main building, when both fell backward to the stone flagging and were so badly hurt that they died shortly afterwards.
