He apparently died from injuries suffered when his motorcycle left the road and hit a utility pole about three miles south of Henry, Illinois. Burial was in Putnam Cemetery in Putnam, Illinois. He was born November 7, 1965, in Peoria, Illinois to George L. and Mary (Russell) Wheeler. He married Durita Neuhalfen on July 16, 1988 in Henry, Illinois.
