She was born November 5, 1939 in Atlantic City to Dorothy and Calvert Williams, Sr.
She attended the local public schools and later received her Bachelor's Degree from Glassboro State College and Master's Degree from Villanova University. She taught at Holy Spirit Elementary School and Brighton Avenue School for more than 30 years. Shirley was an active member of Atlantic City's Second Baptist Church.
Shirley loved children, traveling with her husband, "Bernie", her daily walks, baking and eating meals with her family.
Shirley was predeceased by: her parents; husband, Bernard Boasmond; brothers, William, Calvert, Jr, Donald and Joseph.
She leaves to mourn her passing her siblings, and a host of nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
Shirley will be remembered as a kind and gentle person. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and many friends.
