Mary Jane Ecker, 98, of Wolcottville, died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor, LaGrange, Ind.
She was a clothing and millinery designer. She attended Western Michigan University and was a graduate of a clothing design school. She lived most of her life in the LaGrange County area.
She was born on April 23, 1911 in LaGrange County to the late Jay and Ruth (Mooney) Mills.
She married Arnold B. Ecker on August 11, 1940 in LaGrange, Ind. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1989.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at the Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 West Michigan St; LaGrange, Ind. with the Rev. Carldean Merrifield officiating. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange, Ind.
