French Sculptor. Professor at the School of Fine Arts of Lyon and official sculptor of the Archdiocese of the same city, he is known for having designed and sculpted in 1864 the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lourdes, located in the grotto of Massabielle. He accepted the assignment of portraying the Apparition as exactly as possible. Fabisch sculpted several statues of religious genre, placed in the best known cathedrals of France.
