Actress. Member of a long and prestigious dinasty of actors, Irene was the daughter of the actor Pascual Alba and Leocadia Alba's sister. She obtained a personal success with her performance on the play "La Verbena de la Paloma" in 1894. In 1896 or 1897, she married actor Manuel Caba Martinez and they then moved to Buenos Aires in a tour of five years with plays such as "La Casa del Placer" and "El Chiripá Rojo." Her many works also include "El Arca de Noé," "La Venganza de Don Mendo" and "Los Caciques." She became ill on the stage while she was playing the work "Los Chatos," dying shortly after. She was buried with the actresses Pilar Vidal and Luisa Campos.
