Moved to Missouri in 1855 along with Samuel D. Washburn family. Two daughters Ollie Kate (Berry) Throckmorton Anderson, Marietta Berry Hudson, and son Luther Berry.
Died in November, 1860 before the Civil War. Estate sale in Knox County records. Land in Section 31, five miles west of Samuel D. Washburn family.
Lewis Berry may have been buried in Snell Cemetery, also known as John McKenzie Cemetery.
