Jeanette was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, the late Dr. Eugene Bogucki Sr., in 2003.
She is survived by her son, Thomas of Richmond VA, daughter Teresa of Smyrna GA, Son Eugene Jr. of Leesburg VA and daughter Nancy of Reston VA. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
Always with a smile and very up-beat, Jeanette graduated from Caldwell College in 1949 with a Bachelor's degree. She went on to teach English and Social Studies at Sayreville High School from 1950 to 1954. Married in 1952, she left teaching to raise her four children and later worked at her husband's medical practice in Livingston.
When she and Dr. Bogucki retired, they traveled the world extensively visiting Russia, Poland and China to name a few places. Jeanette was a member of the Millburn Short Hills PTA, the Racquets Club of Short Hills, St. Rose of Lima Church in Short Hills and the Polish Women's Alliance. She was a very good writer, loved to sing, dance and entertain.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, 85 Washington Ave, Chatham on Saturday, August 1st.
