Christian Riley Baucom, a 6-year-old child with Autism from Colony, Mo., was found dead in a pond Wednesday afternoon, March 28, 2012. The Knox County Coroner has ruled his death a drowning and foul play is not thought to be a factor. Just seven months ago, Christian's twin brother Jason Baucom lost his life in the same manner, drowning.

Christian was born on January 10, 2006, in Mexico, Missouri, the son of Jason and Alana M. DeCapua Baucom.

Funeral Services were held Monday, April 2, 2012, at the Millport Mennonite Church, south of Rutledge, Missouri.

Visitation was held Sunday, April 1, 2012, at the Huber Residence, north of Knox City, Missouri.

Burial in the Millport Mennonite Cemetery, south of Rutledge, Missouri.

The family requested no flowers, only your thoughts and prayers.

Arrangements under the direction of the Doss Funeral Home of Edina, Missouri.

Officiating were Carl Hoover, Earl Oberholtzer, Luke Fox and Abner Oberholtzer. Casket Bearers were Vernon Martin, Troy Martin, Merle Zeiset and Floyd Zimmerman.

Christian came to the Huber home at just two days old, under the Tender Touch Program, and Nancy, Elizabeth, Marian and Mary Ellen Huber took him in as their own.

He is survived by Nancy, Elizabeth, Marian and Mary Ellen Huber of the home; a brother, Brodye Juan Baucom of Holts Summit, Missouri; his parents Jason Baucom and Alana Ligier; grandparents, Ron and Polly Baucom of Kingdom City, Missouri and Cathy Williams of Holts Summit, Missouri; along with numerous family and community friends.
