Sgt. Christopher T. Monroe of Kendallville, Indiana was a member of Faith Missionary Church, Fort Wayne and was a 2004 graduate of East Noble High School, where he was active in the Future Farmers of America. Surviving are his mother, Annette Monroe; father, Perry Monroe II; brothers, Nick Monroe and Greg Monroe, grandparents, Connie and John Kennert; grandfather, Perry Monroe Sr., and fiance, Angela Rippe whom he was engaged to and was planning an October 2006 wedding, and future father and mother-in-law, SGT John and Susan Webster. He died in Basra, Iraq, when his 5-ton truck was involved in an automobile accident with a civilian vehicle at age 19.
