Actress. She is best remembered for her role as Annina Brandel in the classic 1942 film "Casablanca". Born Joy Cerrette Paige in Los Angeles, she was the daughter of silent screen actor Don Alvarado. After her parents divorced, her mother married movie executive Jack L. Warner and at age 17 she was put under contract to Warner Bros. "Casablanca" marked her film debut. Her other credits include the films "Kismet" (1944), "Bullfighter and the Lady" (1951), "Conquest of Cochise" (1953), "The Shrike" (1955), and "Tonka" (1958), and television appearances in "Jane Wyman Presents The Fireside Theatre", "Studio 57", "Wagon Train", and "Cheyenne". She was married to actor-producer William T. Orr and was the mother of producer Gregory Orr.
