LOIS L. O'BRIEN - FORMERLY OF LISBON
Watertown Daily Times (NY) - Wednesday, May 8, 2002 Lois L. O'Brien, 83, Annandale, Va., formerly of Old State Road, died Friday at Leewood Healthcare Center, Annandale.

Mrs. O'Brien resided in St. Lawrence County for 52 years, moving with her husband to Annandale five years ago, due to health reasons.

Born April 28, 1919, in North Chicago, Ill., daughter of Otto and Augusta Latz, she graduated from Waukegan Township (Ill.) High School in 1938.

She married Alfred J. O'Brien in 1942 in Waukegan. Mr. O'Brien served in the Navy during World War II and received a Purple Heart for action in the Pacific theater. He retired in 1972 after 35 years of service at the St. Lawrence State Hospital, Ogdensburg. He died May 15, 2001.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda Perrin, Bunnell, Fla.; a son, Alfred H., Annandale, Va.; a brother, Leslie Latz, Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Naomi Rice, DeKalb Junction, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A sister, Dorthy Kaczmaryn, a brother, Leonard Latz, and a great- granddaughter, died before her.

A graveside service will be June 5 in Arlington (Va.) National Cemetery . Arrangements are with Everly Funeral Home, Fairfax, Va. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
