Roger served as a mechanic in the Air Force and received his Honorable Discharge in 1963. He was a Master Mason and served 3 times as Worshipful Master of the Citril Masonic Lodge in Brea in the 1980's. His devotion to service included years of supporting his wife in Rainbow Girls. He was a cook at Disneyland on Opening Day, a mechanic for rope-making equipment and an operating engineer at Alpha Beta.
Memorial service will be Wednesday, June 29, 6pm at the Gateway Masonic Temple #339, 500 E Imperial Hwy, Brea, CA 92821. Reception will follow the service, and all are welcome to share memories of Roger.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made to the Roger McBride Widows and Orphans Fund. Masons have long given to help widows and orphans, and this will be a way you can help them too. As Abraham Lincoln said "...to care for him who shall have born the battle, and his widow, and his orphan".
