Final Rites Held For Mrs. Fudge Jan. 14

Funeral services were held at the Community Church here Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 for Mrs. M. S. Fudge, who passed away at Hamilton, Mont., Jan 10 at 9:20 a.m. at the age of 67 year, nine months, and 19 days. Mrs. Fudge was a pioneer of this community, having arrived with her husband on a homestead northwest of Timber Lake 30 years ago. Rev. Leroy Jones officiated.

Nora Alice Furnish was born in Greenwood County Kansas, in 1874. She was married to M. S. Fudge in 1893 and to this union 11 Children were born, namely: Elmer, Dick, Tiny of Corvallis, Mont., Everett of Astoria, Ore.; Mary Simonson of Harrisburg, Ore., Roy of Madsion, Minn., Alice Olsen, Noreen Dalke and Frank all of Firesteel.

Mrs. Fudge left Timber Lake in 1936 to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Mary Simonson, at Corvallis, Montana.

Her husband and two children having preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her passing nine children, 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, also a host of friends.
