Civil War Veteran Dead.
Wm. H. Baker, an old soldier of 325 South Eighth street passed away at his home early this morning. His sickness was of long duration and death relieved his suffering. He had been a sufferer of liver trouble and that caused his death, according to the undertakers record. Mr. Baker was a native of Indiana and he was a veteran of the Civil War. He was 68 years, 11 months and 10 days of age. He leaves a widow to mourn his death. Mr. Baker was a member of the local G.A.R. Post. He was well and favorably known here, as he had resided in Arkansas City a good many years. The funeral services will be held some time Wednesday at the home, the exact hour to be announced tomorrow.

The funeral services of Wm. H. Baker, whose death occurred yesterday morning at his home here, will be held tomorrow, Wednesday afternoon, at the residence, 325 South Eighth street. The service will be held at 2 o'clock. Interment will take place in Riverview cemetery.
