She was born on March 2, 1930, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Omar and Dora (Pearl) Bates.
Alberta was united in marriage to Edward Rosenburg, and there was one son born to the marriage, Glen Ray Rosenburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ed, her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
Survivors include her son, Glen, and his wife, Janice, of Reeds Spring, Missouri; one sister, Anita Weber of Dallas, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and an extended church family at Turkey Oak.
Alberta spent twenty years working in St. Louis, Missouri and enjoyed the rest of her life in the Turkey Oak community.
She enjoyed fishing, gardening, listening to music, and attending church functions.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in Yarber Chapel, Mountain View, Missouri, with Rev. Myrtle Martin officiating.
Interment will be in Montier Cemetery, Montier, Missouri, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary.
