Roland A. Glass, 83, passed away February 9, 2014 in his home. He was born January 10, 1931 to William Randolph Glass and Edith Claire Barnum in Central Point, Ore. On June 27, 1950 he married Mina L. Hall in Reno, Nev.

Roland enjoyed a career as an electrician and was involved with the Elks, being a Past Exalted Ruler, Medford Lodge, and was also part of the Warren Lodge, and the Roxy Ann Gem & Mineral Society. He enjoyed rock hounding, gardening, fishing, and hunting.

He is survived by his daughters, Terry L. (Dan) Flood, Linda L. Glass, and Gail L. Anderson; brothers, Gerald and Ray Glass; seven grand-children; 19 great-grand-children; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by son, H. Randolph Glass; brother, Weldon Glass; and his parents.

A celebration of his life will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Crater Rock Museum (Mentzer Hall), 2002 Scenic Ave., Central Point, OR.
