Neu-ulm Germany- MSG. Freddy E. Corley, 61, of Neu-ulm Germany and a former resident of North Augusta and husband of Helga B. Corley, entered into rest on Friday, September 2nd, 2011.

He was born in Aiken County and he lived in Germany since his retirement in 1995. He was a son of the late Fred John and Louise Helen Utley Corley. Freddy proudly served his country in the United States Army for twenty-five years retiring as a Master Sergeant. He was a veteran of both Vietnam and Desert Storm. Freddy enjoyed fishing and hunting.

In addition to his wife and parents, family members include a sister, Dale Usry (Ricky), North Augusta and nephews, Charles F. Campbell (Amy), Shawn Campbell (Heidi) and Jason W. Usry.

At his request, Freddy was cremated.

It has been requested that memorials be made to The Wounded Warrior Project. (www.woundedwarriorproject.org)

The family will greet friends on Wednesday, September 7th, 2011 from 6 until 8 o'clock at the funeral lhome.

The Hatcher Funeral Home, US Hwy. #1, Langley, SC is assisting the family with the arrangements.
