She was president of the National Honor Society & received a Houston Livestock & Rodeo Scholarship. She was named Volunteer of the Year for the Houston Crisis Hotline. Lindsay was a freshman at the University of Texas

Grandparents: Pete & Betty Brashier of Ranger, Marvin & Ruth Datz of Houston, Lou & Vi Mink of California.
Brothers: Charlie Jones and Andy Brashier of Waco, and Sister: Rachel Brashier of Waco, TX.
