Buffy, as a rule did NOT like men, especially, my Dad!
Which made it very awkward when he would come by the house to visit my Mom before they were married.
Buffy would roam the neighborhood freely, often chasing cars.
This would be his downfall.
Buffy was struck by a car & killed on Pleasant Street in Brockton, MA in 1968.
My Aunt Mary Ellen did not recognize the dead dog laying in the curb as she walked home was Buffy, until she found out later that Buffy was missing.
My Father, Charles (who Buffy extremely disliked!) was the one who brought him home & dug through the frozen ground in my Grandparent's backyard to lay Buffy to rest.
Also buried in the same backyard is my Grandparent's 4th & last dog, Ming Lei.
**Special thanx to Renee
