Mrs. Helena Uzee' Rodrigue, age 99, died Monday, February 15, 1988 at 3:30 p.m. She was the wife of the late Ernest J. Rodrigue, Sr., a native of Lockport and a resident of Metairie for the past 38 years.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 17 from the Metairie Funeral Home of L.A. Mulheisen and Son with interment in the Cypress Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Velma Jameson of Covington, Mrs. Bertha Gremillion, Mrs. Irene Guidry, and Mrs. Alice Mae Thornton, and three sons, Ernest J., Alvin J., and Donald J. Rodrigue. She was the mother of the late Charles J. Rodrigue and Mrs. Bessie Hinote.
She was the daughter of the late Numa Uzee' and Marguerite Bernard Uzee', and the sister of Mrs. Beatrice Gervais, and the late Raymond, Abel, Atney Uzee' and the late Mrs. Lucy Punch and Mrs. Melanie Uzee' Adam. Survivors also include 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
