At 6'0, 190lbs, he played hockey for teams in the American Hockey League (AHL), American Hockey Association (AHA), Central Professional Hockey League (CPHL), National Hockey League (NHL), International Hockey League (IHL), and the Canadian Amateur Hockey League (CAHL), including the Stratford Nationals 1926-1927, 1927-1928, Montreal Maroons 1926-1927, 1927-1928, Windsor Bulldogs 1928-1929, 1929-1930, New York Americans 1930-1931, 1931-1932, 1934-1935, 1935-1936, 1936-1937, 1937-1938, New Haven Eagles 1931-1932, Detroit Falcons 1931-1932, Detroit Red Wings 1931-1932, 1933-1934, Boston Bruins 1934-1935, Pittsburgh Hornets 1937-1938, 1938-1939, Omaha Knights 1939-1940, 1940-1941, 1941-1942, and St. Louis Flyers 1944-1945.
