He was a son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Kelley Pfeiffer. He was retired from Gulbrandsen Manufacturing, Inc. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Pfeiffer.
Survivors include four daughters, Jessica and Bennie Ulmer Jr. of Orangeburg, Marianne and Dan Weiksner and Rebecca and Dan Frank, all of Andreas, PA, and Stephanie and Corey Young of Wildomar, CA; three sons, Norman Pfeiffer of Gaston, Richard and Suzanne Pfeiffer of Darien, CT and Gary Pfeiffer of Phillipsburg, PA; one brother, John Pfeiffer of Pittsburgh, PA; and 13 grandchildren.
Mr. Pfeiffer donated his body to MUSC under the Uniform Anatomical Gift Act.
