Connell Duggan, son of Bartle Duggan and Bridget Duggan, formerly Duggan, was born on 22 March 1893, at Calhame, Dungloe, Co. Donegal.
His farther was a Farmer.

Rifleman C. Duggan, of 5th Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles, was brought in Dead to the Meath Hospital, Dublin, on 29 April 1916.
The cause of death was Shot in Right Lung, certified.
The informant of his death was a member of the staff of the hospital, who registered his death on 11 May 1916.

Enlisted, 14 Jan. 1916, and was killed during the fighting in Dublin about 30 April, 1916; unmarried. Buried in the grounds of the Royal Hospital there, 2 May.
His younger. brother was killed at Loos.
