Sgt. Robert M. Carr, 22, of Warren, Ohio; was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.; died March 13 in Baghdad of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Robert married Nina on April 10, 2006, in a civil ceremony in Colorado Springs, Colo., and had hoped to renew their vows in a church wedding with their friends and family present. He was 22.
