My paternal Grandad Michael was always known as Sonny. He was one of 4 boys born to John Drury and Kate Flannagan. His mom died of cancer when he was just 3 years old and his Dad died a year later and the boys were raised in an orphanage. He worked as a tailor to help keep his family.
He met and married Nora Dineen, in 1938 and they had 3 sons, Noel, John, Dennis and 2 daughters Nula and Mary. He passed away March 4th from heart attack just 1 month after Nora died from Cancer
