FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR ALICE B. ELLERY
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Alice B. Ellery, widow of the late Dr. W. L. Ellery, Feb. 9, 1968 at the Bailey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Chester Pulliam officiating. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery with Bruce Solter, Barker Fohrman, Wallace Westhoff, James Logsdon, Robert Maier, and Joseph Tiemann as pallbearers.
Mrs. Ellery was born in Chicago October 24, 1878, a daughter of Thomas and Lona Reid. She was married to W. L. Ellery on September 12, 1905 in Chicago. She was a member of LaGrange Presbyterian Church and D.A.R. She resided in LaGrange until July 1964 when she moved to St. Joseph Hospital in Keokuk, Ia.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. William (Alice) Eaton, Keokuk, Iowa; three sons, Gen. F. W. Ellery Retired of Maitland, Fla.; J. L. Ellery, Sergeant Bluff, Ia. and Robert R. Ellery of Quincy; six grandchildren , eight great grandchildren, and two sisters; Mrs. Helen Lewis, and Mrs. Lona Witterstion both of Chicago. She was preceeded in death by her husband, one daughter and two sisters.
