Rev. Bass Dies at Phenix Home ~~The Rev. C. Harrison Bass, 60, 1421 21st St., Phenix City, died Friday night at his home. ~~Pastor of the Providence Freewill Baptist Church of Columbus, he was born Dec. 24, 1907 in Pike County, Ala., son of the late Enoch Allen and Fannie Bass. ~~The Rev. Mr. Bass is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lanie Bass, Phenix City; a sister, Millie Bass, Phenix City; a son, Charles Bass, Columbus, and his stepmother, Mr. Janie Bass, Phenix City.

~~Funeral services for the Rev. Charlie Harrison Bass will be held at 3:30 Sunday afternoon from the Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. J.B. Ledlow, and Dr. H.D. Webb officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Garden Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: active, Perley Allen, Frank Williamson, Dan Olds, Rufus Newman, James Searcy, and Cliff Rigby; honoary, R.D. Robinson, Ralph Robison, E. A. Welch, Raymond Ledlow, Dr. Simone Brocato, Hubert Adams, Rev. Walter Jones, Rev. Warren Wyatt, Dorsey Edwards, Martin Segraves and William Durden. ~~Rev.
