INMAN, SC - Alvin McIndoe, 79, of 190 Avalon Drive, formerly of Greensburg, PA, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2007, at his home. He was the husband of Ruth Moore McIndoe of the home. Mr. McIndoe was a native of Greensburg County, PA and was a son of the late Lester and Gladys Mallard McIndoe. He was a member of the American Legion, Elks, Masonic Lodge, a Shriner and a trustee of Jackson United Methodist Church. He was a retired truck driver.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Maxine Thompson and Virginia Wachs both of Pennsylvania and many loving and caring nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, May 25, 2007 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Jackson United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Michael Bowers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jackson United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 339, Landrum, SC 29356 designated for the Hospice Chapel Fund.
