Anna Marie was once married to Bruce Savelkoul, whom she married on October 15, 1976. This union was blessed with two children, Angie and Brock. As a family, they made their home in Minot, Mohall and in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Anna Marie moved to Scottsdale, Arizona where she worked as a pharmaceutical representative for Albertson Drug Co. Throughout the years, she was employed at Town and Country Credit Union, Northern Tier Federal Credit Union, First Western Bank, First International Bank and Dakota Drug, all of Minot. Recently Anna Marie was employed by Fargo Public Schools Federal Credit Union as a loan officer for two years.
In her younger years, Anna Marie excelled in high school sports. She enjoyed bowling, pool, cooking, camping, traveling, taking pictures and especially golfing with her family. There was nothing that she loved more than spending time with family, friends and spending lots of precious time spoiling her grandson.
Anna Marie will always be remembered as a very caring woman with a soft heart and she will live on in the hearts and lives of her family and loved ones forever.
She was a member of Kiwanis and was a recipient of the YMCA's Woman of Distinction award in 2000.
