The husband of Betty Jane Barnhart married 2 October 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland and son of Grace C Kelly and Albert C Ingels. He was a life long resident of Waynesboro. Mr. Ingels graduated from Waynesboro Senior High School with the class of 1939. They moved to the State Road address in 1966. Mr. Ingels became a resident of Menno-Haven in August of 2007. Mrs. Ingels is also a resident of Menno-Haven. Mr. Ingels was employed at Eichholz's Flowers since 1937, and purchased the business in 1961. He sold the business to his son and retired in 1984. Earle was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, B.P.O. Elks Lodge #731, and Eagles Club Inc. all of Waynesboro. Mr. Ingels enjoyed playing golf, was an avid sports fan and loved reading about history. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Carol S. "Susie" Roy husband James of Orange Park, FL, one son, John F. Ingels wife Ginny of Waynesboro, five grandchildren, Kristen Alford, James Roy II, Jean LaSorsa, Jonathan Ingels and Janette Ingels, seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Alford, Nicolas Alford, Joseph Alford, Corinna Ingels, Erica Garrison, Tyler Allen and Garrett Roy, two sisters, Patricia "Patsy" Kramer of Enola, PA, Edith Snader of Waynesboro, one brother, Bruce C. (Whitey" Ingels of Blue Ridge Summit, PA and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight sisters, Mildred Newcomer, Renie Schildt, Florence Heckart, Alice Sadler, Faye Schmidt, Elsie Gintner, Dorothy Ingels and Agnes Ingels, eight brothers, Roy B. Miller, Fred Ingels, Albert Ingels, Leonard Ingels, Donald Ingels, Robert Ingels, Richard Ingels, and Paul Ingels.
