Shane Michael Daughetee, 24, of Harrison, died on Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, serving in the line of duty as a firefighter, which was his life.He had been an eight-year member of the Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department and attended St. John's United Methodist Church.Shane was a graduate of Central High School class of 2001, where he was a member of Central High School Band.He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Ralph Daughetee; grandparents, Robert and Mary Smart.He is survived by his wife, Nicole Brown Daughetee; father and mother, James and Linda Daughetee; grandmother, Charlotte Daughetee; several aunts, uncles and cousins.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Bayside Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Lovelady officiating. Interment will follow in New McDonald Cemetery, East View.The family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday at Bayside Baptist Church, 6100 Highway 58, North, Harrison, TN 37341. Arrangements are by the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.
