Wayne was born the youngest child and only son of Ashford Seaton and Maude (Goff) Addison. He was preceded in death by his wife: Barbara Sue Addison; his son, Wayne Addison, Jr; and 2 sisters, Reba Hathaway and Audrey Brewer. Wayne is survived by his loving daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Arion Denby; sister, Lorene Murphy; 3 grandchldren, Carrie, Docia and Britt; 5 great grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends. Wayne was raised in Conroe, Texas. He served as a United States Air Force Military Police Officer during the Korean War. He married and moved to Houston in the mid 50s. His career included working for the Village Police Department in the 1960s and retired from the Harris County Sheriff's Department in 1993. He took great pride in all of his years of service as a police officer. Wayne was well known as a bit of a rascal who had a quick with and a generous heart. He will be dearly missed by his family and all that knew him.
