Leonardo Read Nunez II., age 21, late of Bolingbrook, formerly of South Chicago passed away on June 17, 2006. Devoted father of Leonardo D'Angelo & Anysia Marie; Loving husband of Amelia (Munoz); Cherished son of Leonardo & Christina; loving brother to Stephanie & Ethan; Dearest grandson to Geronimo & Angela Nunez; Dearest grandson Alfredo & Angelina Rivera. Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 23 from the Brown Funeral Home, 2939 E. 95th Street to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church for mass of Christian burial at 10 am. Visitation Wednesday & Thursday 3 - 8 pm. 773-768-0155.


Leonardo was known as Reads by his family and Red by his friends for the bright looking red hair. He brought sunshine wherever he went.

Reads/Red was a good and loving person in his own way. He managed to maintain a positive outlook on his life in spite of all the trials and tribulations he had endured.

Reads/Red enjoyed playing basketball, listening to his favorite music & family gatherings. He enjoyed being around people, most of all his children.
