Russian Painter and graphic artist. Since 1915 he was in exile, he lived in Vienna, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts. In 1923 he went to Berlin, then moved to Paris. He worked as a draftsman in the newspaper "De Petit Parisien", "L'Intransigeant", "France-Soir". Member of the Union of Russian artists in France. Exhibited in the salons of Independent (several times since 1926), Autumn (from 1927), the Tuileries, Surindépendants (1948). Participated in exhibitions of Russian artists in the café "La Rotonde" (1925), "Chez Fast" (1927/1928) organized by the Committee, "the France-USSR" (1945) and the Union of Soviet Patriots (SCF) (1945), "Russian Artists in Paris School "(1961), etc. In 1935 he held his first solo exhibition," Circus and music hall "(music hall foyer brothers Amar). After the war, held about twenty personal exhibitions in galleries in Paris "de Seine" (1950, 1952), "De l'lnstitut" (1953), "Zack" (1956, 1960), "Bénézit" (1964, 1967, 1970, 1972, 1974), "J. Charpentier" (1974) and others, in the cities of St. Ireks (dep. Haute-Vienne) (1961, 1966, 1973) and La Napoule (Alpes-Maritimes dep.) (1964). In 1959 the French government purchased his painting (landscape) for the Cannes Museum.
