WILTON — Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Davenport have received word that their son War
rant Officer Bard E. Davenport, 22, of the U. S. Army, First Air Cavalry, died March 27 while serving with the armed forces In Vietnam. Unofficial reports were that his helicopter went down under fire. The soldier was born at Farmington Dec. 16. 1946 son of Arthur and Delcena Swett Davenport. He graduated from Wilton Academy In 1965 and attended Wentworth Institute in Boston. He was a member of the
First Congregational Church here. He is survived by his parents; a sister, Mrs. Harold McNaught of Walpole, Mass.; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ronaldo Simoneau of Wilton and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. MyIon Firth of Waterville.
