Honey died about July 5, 2008. She was taken in as a pregnant stray with BBs in her from being tied up and used as target practice.
Even after the vet removed a lot of them, for many years, from time to time, a BB would work it's way out of her sinuses from being shot in the nose and face so much. She had scars on her tongue from BBs having to be dug out.
She ate better than her owner and was probably a purebred chow. Was a big loving dog.
She suffered the maladies of old age, received a hip replacement, but eventually had to be put down, and is buried in the backyard of an Albuquerque home under a big sycamore.
