Edward Thomas Bolduc, 64, of Hedgerow Drive, a lifelong resident of Cumberland, died Saturday at a Portland hospital.
He was born here, a son of Edward A. and Marie Jolin Bolduc, and attended local schools, graduating from the Greely Institute in 1952.
He served for two years in the Army at Fort Ord, Calif.
For 42 years, he was a clerk at the Maine Central Railroad, retiring in 1995.
Mr. Bolduc was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Yarmouth, and a former member of both the Cumberland Fire Department and the Order of Red Men.
He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and participating in the activities of his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Fay Brown Bolduc, and a son, James E., both of Cumberland; two daughters, Cheryl Gagne of Cumberland and Brenda Conlin of Merrimac, N.H.; two brothers, Roger Bolduc of Cumberland and Philip Bolduc of Falmouth; a sister, Margaret Leighton of Cumberland; and six grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Lindquist Funeral Home, Yarmouth. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, Yarmouth. Burial will follow in Moss Side Cemetery.
