50-year-old McLeansboro resident, William Lee "Willie" Burke died at 8:30 Wednesday morning, July 18, at his home. He was owner and operator of Willie Burke Construction. He also served as an auctioneer with Don and Willie Burke Auctioneers.
Survivors include four brothers, Lon of La Plata, MD, Ron and Don of McLeansboro and Bob of Mount Vernon, IL; nephews and nieces, Susan Burke of Carbondale, Sean Burke of La Plata, MD, Allison, Jason, Natalie and Nicholas Burke of McLeansboro.
Services for William Lee "Willie" Burke will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in St. John's Cemetery at Piopolis.
Visitation will be from 5 - 8 Friday evening, July 20, at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
