She was born in New York City July 17, 1896 to James Kennedy and Katherine Carr Kennedy. Mrs. Hill worked as a bookkeeper for James G. Kennedy Contracting Corp. of New York City for more than 30 years, retiring 13 years ago. Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn Vanderlinde of Valley Cottage and Delores Lehr of Alexandria, Va.; two brothers, Joseph Kennedy of Riverside, Conn, and James Kennedy of Larchmont, N.Y.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Church, Congers. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
