~*~ MY BROTHER ~*~
William Lee "Bill" Little Jr., 59, of Columbus, Kansas, passed peacefully in the early morning hours, Sunday November 14, 2010, at St. John's Regional Medical Center In Joplin, Missouri.
Bill was born in Baxter Springs, Kansas on April 5, 1951 to William Lee Sr. and Betty Joe Wood Little. To his family, he was always known as "Junior".
He graduated from CUHS High School, in Columbus, in 1969.
He started working at the Columbus State Bank while still in High School, and worked there until health issues forced him to leave. Other jobs were Dollar General Store, McDonalds, Sandy's Cafe, The Joplin Globe and he did some medical transcribing.
Bill enjoyed hobbies, such as Tae Kwon Do, computers, chess, and music. He loved watching old Star Trek shows.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Joe Crabtree of Columbus, Sisters, Wanda Lea Andrews and husband Larry, Betty Burton and husband Jim, and Judy Smith, all of Columbus, Linda Duree and husband David of Baxter Springs, and Barbara Jeffrey and husband John of McCune. Brothers Bobby Little and Jimmie Joe Little of Columbus. Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Graveside services will be held in City Cemetery in Columbus, Kansas, at 11am, Friday November 19, 2010, with the visitation at 10am at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home.
