The funeral services of Mrs Elizabeth Lindemann were held Saturday afternoon from her residence on Mound Street, Portsmouth, Ohio, conducted by Rev. W.H. Christian of Central Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Lindemann died Thursday morning after a long illness with liver trouble. She was 74 years of age and is survived by 5 children, Fred, Will, and Lou Lindemann, Mrs. Anna Call, and Mrs Kate Orth.
She was born in Germany and when a young girl came to this country. For 32 years she was a resident of Buena Vista and for the past 20 years she has been one of the spendid German residents of this city.
Always true to her friends, she counted them by the hundreds and old and young were glad to be known as friends of Mrs. Elizabeth Lindemann.
