He was born in Winchester, Ohio, a son of James Thomas and Dora Mae Cook Alexander. He recieved his education in the schools of Winchester.
He married Nora McKenzie, January 22, 1924.
Mr. Alexander was employed by the Ford Motor Co. and Baldwin-Niles Tool Works and later Baldwin Lima-Hamilton for 30 years, retiring in 1959.
He was a member of Lindenwald United Methodist Church, Washington Lodge 17, Free Masons, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Cincinnati; Syrian Shrine, Past Watchman of the Shepherds of the White Shrine of Jerusalem; International Club of Hamilton, Fort Hamilton Association, Ford Old Timers Club, and Senior Citizens.
Survivors include his wife Nora Alexander; two sons, Tom Alexander, Fairfield, Robert Alexander, Hamilton; a daughter, Mrs Lenora Albright, Fairfield; eight grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Katheryn Spurlock, Hamilton, and Mrs Helen Lindsay, Louisville, Ky.
Services Saturday at noon in the Webb Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave.
Burial in Greenwood Cemetery
