Cleet or "Randy" to many, was one of Seattle's most significant and influential people during the days of the dark and mysterious underground music industry.

He first started as a DJ at one of Seattle's most historical Gothic club "The Vogue" which was initially located on 1st Ave N, and then after many devoted years there, the club moved to one of Seattle's more liberal areas -- Capital Hill.

Cleet spent over 20 years as "DJ DarkJustice" playing at The Vogue and as guest DJ around the numerous clubs of the seedy Downtown area and lively Capital Hill, partying and socializing with it's diverse and wildly exciting crowds. I doubt there is anyone in these clubs that doesn't know and respect Cleet.

Cleet was one of the nicest and most generous person anyone would know. He was as gentle as a kitten, very knowledgeable and worldly -- yet never let his guard down. He had been a vegan for over 15 years and quit smoking over 20 years ago.

He was named a district leader several years ago and has been a member of the SGI in Seattle, Washington for 25+ years. He was a member of Lifelong Aids, and worked to help pass marriage equality in Seattle and the re-election of President Barack Obama.

Cleet loved music of all kinds especially drum and bass, the outdoors including hiking, swimming and canoeing. He worshiped the Gohonzon, played the guitar, loved cooking, backyard grilling and surprisingly gardening.

I doubt there is a person who wasn't touched by Cleet's understanding and generosity. He will be sorely missed by one and all who crossed paths with this gentle soul.
