On Sunday, September, 21, 2014, Kayden Rain "Booga" Curtis got her wings and became an Angel. Kayden was and continues to be a ray of sunshine that brings a smile to everyone's face. She was full of love, laughter and life. She had her mother's dimples and attitude and her daddy's blonde hair and deep blue eyes. She loved the outdoors and everything about it.

Her spirit was grand and giving. She continues to give the gift of life and love by being an organ donor and an angel to those in need.

She is survived by her parents, Michael and Tiffany Curtis; her grandparents, Kevin and Cindy Curtis of Louisa, Wendy Elmore of Lynchburg, Casey Cowart of Lynchburg, Mike Whitehead of Lynchburg, and Tammy Tice of Lynchburg; her great grandparents, Carolyn and Butch Cowart of Altavista, Ann Childress of Bedford, Kitty Godsey of Rice, Carole and Kurt Curtis of Midlothian; and great great grandmother, Muriel Cowart of Rustburg; her fur babies, puppy dog "Mercy", kitties, Monkey and Cali; and many family, friends and loved ones.

A celebration of Kayden's Life will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, September 25, 2014, in Lynchburg First Church of the Nazarene, 1737 Wards Ferry Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502 by Pastor Stephen Willis. The family will receive friends from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the church.

“Authorities continue investigating details surrounding a house fire at an unlicensed day care that left one toddler dead and two others in critical condition.”
