Kory K. Flores, 14, of Ottawa died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at her residence. * via THE LIMA NEWS PAPER* She was born Tuesday.May 27, 1997 in Lima,Allen Co.Ohio to Gerard and Aracelia (Salazar) Flores and they survive in Ottawa. Also surviving are 3 sisters: Scout, Abagail and Sofia all at home; a half-brother: Isiaha Warner and a half-sister: Monica Torres both of Toledo; grandparents: Arcaro Flores, Sr. of Lima and Baudelio and Gloria Salazar of Baytown, TX. She was preceded in death by her grandmother: Sofia Flores.
Kory was an 8th grader at Ottawa Elementary School where she was on the Basketball and Track teams; a member of Student Council and on the year book staff. She was also a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday and 2 to 8 pm Wednesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday.
